Talk To Us Heading
Of course! After all, it’s your website.
You will have the login details and we will brief you on how to make changes. Being able to update and change the website on your own is a great reason to have a WordPress website. Don’t worry, we simplify the edit platform so you can easily edit text sections and images without breaking anything. And if the worse happens – we have backups 😉 .
Upon final payment, we give you access and show you around the backend of your website and how to make changes (including updates).
Definitely you can build your own website. With all the tools and free online knowledge out there, anyone can build a website these days.
But we believe that your clients get a lot more value from the work that you do, for saving them the time for them to become experts in your field (say, that expat that came to Portugal to become finally good at surfing). The same applies here: our responsibility is to have the expertise and complete your website efficiently so you can do the same for your clients.Â
After our first call, you can expect a price proposal within 1 day. The price will vary based on how many pages you need and what type of functionality you want. We have a base price for a lading page + header + footer and from there, you can expect 100-250€ per additional page based on complexity and add-ons (e.g: booking engine, social widgets, multi-language, payment system, etc). You can also let us know your budget, and we’ll work on an offer accordingly.
We request a 50% deposit upfront.
Yes — to launch your WordPress website, you’ll need a domain name and web hosting. These are not included in our service, but we’ll guide you every step of the way.
We recommend:
Domain name from GoDaddy – ~€10–€20/year
Hosting from HostGator – ~€40–€100/year (depending on the plan)
💬 Don’t worry if this sounds technical. We’ll help you choose the best plan, walk you through the purchase, and handle the entire setup and installation as part of the project.
We suggest you purchase these in your name so that you have full control and ownership over your website. But if you really (really) want us to set up this for you, we can do it with an additional fee.
We look at your content, your competitors and the industry in general. We then build up the first version and send you the link. From that point onwards we begin an iterative feedback based process until everyone is happy with the end result.
You can find more about it here.
The standard time line varies greatly depending on what exactly you need to have done. There are many factors to take into account, to name but a few – the size and complexity of the project, the speed at which content is given, and speed at which revisions are given back.
After our initial call, you can expect a first draft within 2-3 weeks.
You do! It is best if the majority of the content comes from you as who knows your business better? We are always happy to give title suggestions and alternatives for SEO purposes.
Ideally, you would have all text/copy content for the website upfront, as well as logo original files (PNG) and the login to current site (if any) and hosting/domain provider account.
When the website is created we will build in the basic Search Engine Optimization features, but you can opt to have us create your XML site map, optimize the headers and meta data and register you on Google. If you require the later then this is available as an SEO gig extra.
On our projects we offer 4 major revisions (feedback cycles). This is to create some structure to the project. Of course if there are some minor changes and cosmetic revisions or text/image replacement change requests we don’t consider as feedback revisions. We try to be as flexible as we can.
