Marine Conservation Philippines

Marine Conservation Philippines is a non-profit organization actively engaging in the battle for food security. Through underwater surveys, they monitor reef health to inform, advise and educate local government units about changes within locally managed marine protected areas.

MCP sought to enhance their online presence to attract a younger demographic of potential volunteers and raise awareness about their conservation efforts. They required a media partnership to generate engaging content, with a strategy of posting three times per week across their social media channels.

Wander Desk X MCP. Aligning with MCP’s mission, Wander Desk developed visually appealing and informative content tailored to engage both young and local audiences. Within the first month of our collaboration, MCP experienced a 50% increase in activity in their social media profiles. We also produced two comprehensive YouTube videos: one summarising MCP’s initiatives and another depicting daily life at their base camp. These videos not only facilitated prospective volunteers in envisioning their experience but also streamlined communication between MCP and its volunteers. Our focus on capturing community engagement was pivotal in keeping local stakeholders informed and involved in MCP’s ongoing projects.

Working with Wander Desk was a great experience. They brought a lot of creativity and professionalism to the table, delivering high-quality video and photo content that really captured what we do as an NGO. Aside from being incredible creatives, Wander Desk quickly understood the assignment, and offered many valuable suggestions that increased the efficiency of our social media campaigns, Thanks to their work, we saw a marked increase in online engagement and have experienced a greater volume of volunteer applications we attribute to the content created.  They were easy to work with, proactive, and they always made sure we got the best results. We’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for great media content, and we don’t think it’s the last time we have worked with Wander Desk either!
